Sony DSR-450WSP DVCAM 16:9 / 4:3 Camcorder
Sony DSR-450WSP (Replacement for DSR-570WSP) 'Green-friendly' camcorder delivering improved imaging performance for programme makers.
Sony camcorders like the DSR-570WSP and DSR-390P have already attracted a dedicated following from programme makers looking for the best possible blend of features, performance and value from the DVCAM format.
Today, these camcorders are the preferred choice for a variety of applications all around the world, from video journalism and newsgathering to event photography and much more.
Building on this success, Sony now announces the DSR-450WSP and DSR-400P DVCAM camcorders. The new DSR-450P from Sony is the successor to the DSR-500 / 570 series camcorders, featuring progressive scan mode (25p).
The VTR section now records and replays DV and DVCAM as required.
The DSR-400 uses approximately 10% less power than the DSR-570, thus providing useful additional battery life.
Another great feature is the versatile flip out 2.5" colour LCD screen for metering / viewing.
Please note that the DSR-450 does not feature 26pin connectivity for CCU control, so it can no longer be used in studio configurations with CCU control.
Instead it has an SDI output board option.
The DSR-450WSPL is supplied without lens.
