Founded in 2005, Pro Motion's core business is the dry hire of broadcast equipment from acquisition to post production. The company supports a wide variety of customers internationally, including independent production companies, lighting camera operators, audio visual production companies, post production facilities and broadcasters.

Pro Motion's equipment is primarily used for factual programming, documentaries, corporate work, sports broadcasting and multimedia, while its Cine Motion division handles mainly digital film and promo work.
Headquartered in London's Waterloo, Pro Motion also has a regional office in Brighton. Pro Motion acquired broadcast hire facility Rent, and Eurocrew Worldwide which provides English speaking crews locally around the world in January 2011.
